Rob Soczka
Plant Manager

Rob is responsible for the operation of our Cookstown plant. He can typically be found pounding the pavement between the production floor and his office, working closely with office, maintenance and production staff to ensure the quality and integrity of our products. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Rob started with ECB at the Riverton Plant as the Operations and Human Resource Manager. There he assisted in growing the company through an emphasis on its people. Now Rob is bringing those same values to our Verdyol Plant. When not at work, he spends his time with his wife and beautiful daughter exploring Southern Ontario. He enjoys hiking, camping and traveling. |

Harry Peloski
Production Manager
Harry has been with Verdyol for over 12 years, which is longer than some of our equipment is old! If you need to know anything about loading trucks, fixing blanket machines, feeding the production lines or our products in general, Harry is your man. He can tell you how many bags of mulch will fit in a ½ ton truck or 40’ container in a fraction of a second. Before dedicating himself to the world of erosion control, Harry spent 27 years in the military and received numerous medals for his service. He is a professional chef and enjoys trapping at his cabin in North Bay. Harry was the first to receive the President’s Award for his dedication and service to Erosion Control Blanket-Verdyol Plant in 2006. |

Barb Boulton
General Worker / Administrative Assistant

As her title implies, Barb can be found almost anywhere on the property doing almost anything you need done. In fact, she was the first to receive Erosion Control Blanket-Verdyol Plant’s “Out of the Blue Award” in 2006 for just that! Barb is an excellent gardener, cleaner and staple packager. When she is not out in the yard, Barb is working in the office for our distributors, ensuring their orders are well taken care of. If that was not enough, Barb also runs a small business in Alliston with her husband and still finds quality time to spend with her lovely granddaughter! |
