Mechanical Millwright

Reporting directly to the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintenance, fabrication and repair activities in support of plant operations.

In this challenging role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Installing, maintaining, dismantling and overhauling production machinery, such as heavy mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, pulleys, mechanical clutches, gear boxes, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • Periodic maintenance of machinery including lubrication, seal or bearing replacement, belt adjustment, etc.
  • Monitoring and adjustment of PLC controls as required to maintain optimal machine performance.
  • Maintaining vibration monitoring program using in-house vibration acquisition and monitoring equipment.
  • Participating and supporting plant productivity improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Journeyman mechanical millwright ticket.
  • 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Production Line Workers

We require self-motivated individuals who are able to work well on a team and to meet the demands of the production line. 
 
Complete training will be provided.   Employees are required to provide their own, reliable transportation.
 
These are full time, seasonal positions with shifts dependant on production requirements. Evening hours, weekend shifts and possible overtime can be expected with premium rates for those working the evening shift. ECB also offers a Blue Cross Health Plan and production bonuses for all full-time production employees.
